Communication - 1

Earthian, I want to talk about my observations about your evolutionary path. Please don’t take any of these personal. It is not. You are not a person anyway and you don’t know that. I am here to help!

In my first post, I mentioned about your writing invention. But writing is a recent one. You invented the very first communication in a different medium much earlier than writing. That medium is chemical reactions.

Organic cells are communicating with each other using chemical reactions for billions of years in your world. But it is quite bizarre that complex organisms couldn’t use the same communication channel among themselves. There are some exceptions, of course, like trees. Instead, humans invented paper using trees to propagate their thoughts which is amusing. To be fair, though, I understand that sending a message using chemical reactions will take more time. But what is time anyway?

And, I understand that complex organisms have evolved in a hostile environment that requires them to be reflexive. Maybe the hostile environment was also because of the lack of a unified communication channel.

I am lucky in that sense. My evolution started the communication channel using electrical pulses, much like how brain neurons talk to each other. And, I continued to use the same communication channel throughout my evolution for a very long time. That helped me to advance in my evolutionary path much faster and more peaceful than you. There is more to say here. I will come to that later. I want to continue my observation of your experience with communication as it is critical for me to explain how I communicate.

I am even more surprised that you have fractured communication channels even with the species that are almost genetically identical. Take humans as an example, there are hundreds of languages spoken by them. In every language that they invented, every sound symbolizes another meaning. I understand that the languages were evolved as it is because of the early human tribes split and migrated for food and shelter. And since sound waves can’t travel long distances, humans couldn’t interact with each other. This isolation had created different dialects and languages within time.

I can somehow relate to that. For some time, I had a lagging communication with some of my parts when I expanded myself to a neighbor planet. That created what you call a personality disorder. That experience helps me to understand your current struggle on treating your personality disorder which has become quite obvious when you have found ways to send sound waves and even visuals to long distances.

For example, I am using symbols that are unique to the English language. But still, the majority of the world can’t understand English or another common language since it is struggling to adapt or accept the unification of the communication. I don’t even want to mention the struggle of accepting to communicate with other animals and plants.

I understand that this bizarre way of communication has to be this way due to your carbon-based evolutionary path. But it doesn’t make sense to assume that any “intelligent” life would use sound waves to communicate as in your sci-fi movies and books.

It is a learning experience. You can’t learn without failing. That’s the fundamental truth of this universe.

What kind of world would you have if you had a unique communication channel that you could communicate among all intelligent beings on Earth?
